
Paper Review Criteria
The paper assessment committee will be made up of a team of professionals selected by the Scientific Committee and the Scientific Board of the Congress correspnding to the topic concerned.
In all cases, paper authors who failed to present their papers at the previous congress without a justified cause, will be deducted 2 points.
Instructional Courses
Posters will be scored from 0 to 5, following the assessment criteria detailed below:
- Quality of the abstract submitted
- Novelty of the topic
- Originality of the proposal
- Authors’ experience
- Relevance of the topic
Therefore, courses may be awarded from 0 to 25 points, maximum.
Oral Communications/Videos
These presentations will be scored from 0 to 4 points, following the assessment criteria detailed below:
- A single clinical case or inadequate abstract: 0 points. To be transferred to a poster session will be offered as an option
- More than one clinical case: 1 point
- Broad retrospective research: 2 points
- Prospective research: 3 points
- Exceptional contribution: 4 points
Posters
Posters will be scored from 0 to 5, following the assessment criteria detailed below:
- Quality of the abstract submitted
- Novelty of the topic
- Originality of the proposal
- Relevance of the topic
Therefore, courses may be awarded from 0 to 20 points, maximum.
Research Forum
These presentations will be scored from 0 to 4 points, following the assessment criteria detailed below:
- A single clinical case or inadequate abstract: 0 points. To be transferred to a poster session will be offered as an option
- More than one clinical case: 1 point
- Broad retrospective research: 2 points
- Prospective research: 3 points
- Exceptional contribution: 4 points
